Warbird Weekend at Warrenton-Fauquier Airport

Are you looking for a unique way to view scenic Virginia from the sky? Warrenton-Fauquier Airport has you covered because May 22 and 23 the airport will be hosting warbirds that will be on display and available for rides.

The Capital Wing, based at the Culpeper Regional Airport, flies 4 iconic WWII warbirds: Stinson L-5 Sentinel forward air controller, Fairchild F24/UC-61 Forwarder, Vultee BT-13 Valiant, and a General Motors TBM Avenger. In addition to the headliners TBM Avenger "Doris Mae" and B-25 "Panchito," other warbirds are also on display.

The Capital Wing of the Commemorative Air Force offers a thrilling flight experience in a vintage WWII aircraft at each of its Warbird Showcase events. Each Showcase is unique and you're certain to have an exciting experience.
