TSA Seeks New Screeners
If you are looking for a career in the aviation industry but don’t want to fly or maintain an aircraft, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is looking to hire 6,000 new officers as airport screeners.
The agency said it is expecting travel to pick up later this year based on the pace of COVID-19 vaccinations and normal summer travel.
To prepare, TSA is launching a national recruitment campaign to fill the jobs by this summer. There are full-time and part-time positions available across the country. TSA will participate in virtual job fairs and launch targeted recruitment efforts to fill open positions at 430 airports.
