Norfolk to Pittsburgh Service to Resume

Beginning June 3, Allegiant Air will once again fly from Norfolk to Pittsburgh – a route that had been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Service will resume between Pittsburgh International Airport and Norfolk International Airport as part of Allegiant’s national expansion plan.

Those interested in traveling between the two destinations can now book flights for as low as $49, the carrier said.

Drew Wells, Allegiant’s vice president of revenue and planning, said, "Today, travelers are seeking destinations that allow them the chance to recreate in a safe way, usually outdoors."  Norfolk and Virginia Beach are popular destinations for Pittsburgh-area residents.

Allegiant also announced it added three cities to its national network: Key West, Florida; Portland, Oregon; and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
