Check Your Chart Expiration Date

Beginning February 25, all Sectional Aeronautical, VFR Terminal Area (TAC), VFR Flyway Planning, VFR Aeronautical, and Helicopter Route Charts will begin to be updated every 56 days so that they coincide with the publication dates of other FAA chart products.  This means that some current charts may become obsolete before the expiration date listed on the charts.  It also means that new information will be added to the charts more quickly than in the past.

This change makes the chart bulletins that are contained in chart supplement volumes unnecessary the FAA said.
