Breeze Airways Announces Additions of New Flights

The new U.S. low-fare airline, Breeze Airways, will be adding eight new routes, including three in Virginia this February that will expand the carrier’s network to 42 routes.

The new routes from New York’s Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) and Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) are the 17th and 18th destinations in the network. They are the first new market additions since the airline began service in May.

Three of the new flights will affect Virginia travel as roundtrip flights between Islip and Norfolk will begin on February 17 and occur four times a week on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays. Fares will start at $39 one-way. On February 19, the airline will also add Saturday-only roundtrip flights from Palm Beach to Norfolk and Richmond, which will start at $59 one-way.

On February 18, Breeze will add twice weekly roundtrips between Islip and Charleston, SC on Fridays and Mondays. The other locations adding Saturday-only roundtrip flights from Palm Beach beginning on February 19 include Akron/Canton, OH; Charleston, SC; Columbus, OH and New Orleans, LA. Fares from Palm Beach to Charleston and New Orleans will start at $39 one-way, while PBI to Akron/Canton and Columbus will start at $59 one-way.

Breeze Airways services 16 cities across 13 states and is the nation’s low fare carrier nonstop service between secondary airports. The airline recently announced an order of 80 A220-300 aircraft, the first of which will enter service in mid-2022. With Breeze, there are never any change or cancellation fees.
