With Airline Cancellations, There is Too Much Jet Fuel

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused airlines to cancel large numbers of flights. This has dramatically lowered the consumption of jet fuel in the United States (and elsewhere) and fuel production can’t be dialed back quickly.  This has led to an oversupply of fuel and challenges regarding where this fuel can be stored until needed.

At least for the time being, those who are purchasing jet fuel are benefiting by seeing prices drop at the pump.
