Renewal Aviation Fuel Demand Expected to Grow

By 2025, the market for renewable aviation fuel is expected to grow by more than 56 percent due to government policies around the world.  Unless airline operators expand their aviation fuel commitments with bio-refineries, however, this expected demand isn’t likely to be met.

The defense sector is expected to the fastest growing market as the U.S. military seeks to improve environmental performance of its aircraft and to reduce emissions.  The Air Force and the Navy burn a combined total of 4.8 billion gallons of jet fuel and diesel annually.
