Private Jet Travel Seeing Tremendous Growth
While the nation’s biggest and most profitable airline (Delta) just posted its first quarterly loss in five years – and other U.S. air carriers are expected to follow suit, private aviation companies are reporting 400 percent growth in inquiries and bookings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to CEO World magazine.
To put social distancing into practice, travelers are looking to private jets. According to a report by GlobeAir, flying in a private aircraft is 30 times less risky – regarding exposure to an infected person – than flying on a commercial carrier. With a lower potential risk of infection and the ability to fly long distances, private aviation is becoming the preferred method of travel among a wide variety of individuals.
