Aviation at the Leading Edge Series will be broadcast

The Virginia Space Grant Consortium has announced that their Space Grant/NASA Aeronautic Research Mission Directorate webinar series, NASA Aeronautics:  Aviation at the Leading Edge, will be airing on NASA TV next week as follows:

Monday, May 18, 6 p.m. EDT  –Quiet Supersonic Flight Over land – Lowering the Boom

Tuesday, May 19, 6 p.m. EDT – Safe Flight for Drones – Designing a System for Urban Air Mobility

Wednesday, May 20, 6 p.m. EDT – Electrified Aircraft – Tackling the Challenges of Alternative Propulsion

Each one-hour webinar features conversations with NASA Aeronautics researchers talking about cutting edge technologies enabling the future of flight.

Space Grant Directors who served as moderators are Steve Ruffin, Suzanne Smith and Scott Tarry.  The series was a project of the Space Grant Directors Aeronautics Working Group and was produced and broadcast by Old Dominion University’s Office of Distance Learning in partnership with NASA and the Virginia Space Grant Consortium.
