Speech Recognition Systems for GA Pilots Being Studied
General Aviation (GA) pilots are needed for a study underway by researchers at Florida Institute of Technology and Purdue University. The online study, partially funded by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) NextGen Weather Technology in the Cockpit (WTIC) program, aims to understand the speech recognition (SR) systems used by GA pilots and their perception of how SR systems might assist them in submitting pilot reports (PIREPs).
If you are able and willing to participate, you will be asked to answer 23 survey questions. The survey should take less than 10 minutes and can be completed using any device by clicking on the link, https://TinyURL.com/FIT-PIREPStudy
