Aquiline Drones Offers Program to Get Americans Back to Work

The first Black US-based drone and cloud technology company – Aquiline Drones – is offering a new drone training program called Flight to the Future.  The program is designed to help Americans who have lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to Barry Alexander, CEO of Aquiline Drones, the Flight to the Future program is a powerful business opportunity for Americans looking to re-tool or to start a new career by becoming a licensed drone pilot.

The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International expects more than 100,000 new jobs in the unmanned aircraft industry by 2025.  Drone sales are predicted to exceed $12 billion in 2021, up significantly from the $8.5 billion in sales in 2016.

According to GlobalData’s latest Quarterly Tech Trends survey, drone usage within the insurance industry will accelerate due to the impact of the global pandemic.  Beatriz Benito, a senior insurance analyst at the data company, said 35 percent of firms in the insurance industry cited investing in drone technology.

“The pandemic will change the way people and businesses interact; and contactless drone inspections will become even more valuable to the insurers,” said Benito.

Aquiline’s Alexander said, “I think re-training through our drone training program will bring hope, empowerment and an immediate opportunity to gain financial independence.”

The new Flight to the Future training course is designed to prepare students to become fully licensed drone pilots and business operators by using advanced technology to create high-paying jobs to help transform the current unemployment landscape.

The Flight to the Future class takes six weeks to complete and includes pilot training and FAA certification, AD cloud immersion, master specialized drone expertise, and small drone business set up.
