Young Eagles Day/Airport Open House

10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

The Danville Regional Airport will host a Young Eagles Rally and Airport Open House that will involve free plane rides for children ages 8 to 17 and tours for the public to see the newly renovated Airport terminal, Operations Advisory Tower, Averett University's Flight Center Building and the Civil Air Patrol Building. Other planned activities include opportunities for youth to access a flight simulator with an EAA pilot to improve aviation awareness. Free refreshments for the public will be provided. This event does not include a rain date.
