The Commemorative Air Force, Capital Wing, Warbird Showcase will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the New Terminal Ramp of Warrenton-Fauquier Airport on May 7-8.

The Capital Wing, based at the Culpeper Regional Airport, flies 4 iconic WWII warbirds: Stinson L-5 Sentinel forward air controller, Fairchild F24/UC-61 Forwarder, Vultee BT-13 Valiant, and a General Motors TBM Avenger. In addition to the headliners TBM Avenger "Doris Mae" and B-25 "Panchito," other warbirds are also on display.

Also featured are a 1951 USCG Jeep, Martin B-26 50-cal machine gun turret, Huey helicopter fuselage with re-enactors in full period uniforms, Capitol Wing PX trailer, and food and refreshments available for purchase.

The Capital Wing of the Commemorative Air Force offers a thrilling flight experience in a vintage WWII aircraft at each of its Warbird Showcase events. Each Showcase is unique and you're certain to have an exciting experience.
