This event is being presented by the Southeastern Virginia Chapter of Women in Aviation International (WAI) and the Military Aviation Museum. Girls In Aviation Day is a worldwide event with thousands of girls participating at airports, museums and other aviation facilities around the globe! GIAD 2021 aims to educate and communicate to children below 17 years old the world of aviation! Even though the event has the word “Girls” in it, boys are always included too! At the event, there will be a plethora of activities such as: paper airplane competitions, sectional chart scavenger hunts, “Dress like a Pilot” photo booth, flight simulators, meet-and-greets with aviators and much, much more!

The Girls in Aviation Day 2021 Kit:
