Engine Maintenance and Monitoring and Fly Your Aircraft First - topic "Operating Piston Engine Aircraft and Maintaining Control of the Aircraft will be held beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Williamsburg-Jamestown Airport. This will be a two-part seminar. Each topic will be 30-40 minutes in length with one 10 minute break in between. Part 1: Inadequate engine maintenance has led to a significant number of general aviation power failures. Flight data monitoring can help to forecast system/component problems before they reach the point of failure. Part 2: NTSB accident data suggest that pilots, while distracted by less essential tasking, have lost control of their aircraft and crashed. Pilots are reminded to maintain aircraft control at all times. This may mean delay in responding to ATC communications and passenger requests or not responding at all unless positive aircraft can be maintained throughout. In other words,” Fly the Aircraft First! “. Don't miss this exclusive event. Click the link to register TODAY.
