The Virginia Department of Aviation offers a variety of publications to both educate and inform the public regarding aviation in Virginia.

The Virginia Aviation Newsletter is an online publication produced to promote aviation in the Commonwealth of Virginia. To subscribe contact David Halstead at david.halstead@doav.virginia.gov

The Virginia Aviation Calendar includes photographs from the Virginia Aviation Photography Contest and the art of Virginia winners of the International Aviation Art Contest.  In addition, important aviation historical dates are noted each month.

The Virginia Aeronautical Chart is a planning chart which utilizes the same scale and symbology as an FAA Sectional Chart. It provides a rendering of the state of Virginia on one side of the chart and travel information on the other side.

The Virginia Airport Directory provides information, including airport layout diagrams, for each of Virginia's public use airports.
